Dr. Charles Olentine has over 40 years' experience working and networking in the area of animal protein production.  After earning his PhD in animal science, Dr. Olentine co-authored an industry textbook on feeds and nutrition.

He then joined WATT Publishing, an agricultural publisher, where he managed their top-performing magazine group.  His publishing experience includes numerous editorials and features covering the poultry, livestock and pet food sectors.  He has also traveled across Europe, Asia and South America to visit and report on the latest industry developments.

In 2004, Dr. Olentine joined the US Poultry & Egg Association to manage the International Poultry Expo, which he strategically merged with other trade shows to form the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE).  Under his leadership, bottom line performance of the IPPE more than doubled and the event is now listed among the top 50 trade shows in the United States.  He has also been named Show Manager of the Year by the Expo Group.
